Here's an insight into some of the things...
What I’m Working On
1. I like to think of myself as a lifelong student – I finished memorising the Qur’an by the age of 15 in Leicester, I completed a 6-year full-time Alimiyyah programme in London, and more recently I graduated with an MA in Islamic Education from the University of Warwick. I continue to study privately with my teachers, and I am also in the process of obtaining formal qualifications in counselling.
2. I recently authored my first ever book – ‘A Beautiful Patience: 40 Life Lessons from Surah Yusuf’ is a spiritual self-help book which has already sold thousands of copies worldwide. You can order your own copy here (or feel free to buy one as a gift for a loved one!)
3. I am the founder of The Nikah Co – the UK’s leading bespoke Nikah service provider. To date, we have conducted more than 600 Muslim marriage ceremonies! You can learn more about what we do here.
4. I am also a teacher – my passion lies in the Arabic Language, Quranic Studies & the Seerah. I love learning and sharing that knowledge with others. I am currently the spiritual facilitator for Faith Space UK and an instructor over at Q-Iman Arabic.
Other Projects
1. I host the IlmFeed Podcast – I’ve had the pleasure of having conversations with some of the most influential Muslim figures across the world. I’ve also presented on TV in the past on channels such as TV One UK and Islam Channel.
2. I love connecting with others in person – I’ve travelled to many different cities as a public speaker and have facilitated workshops, seminars, Friday sermons, and more.
Full Bio
Shabbir Hassan is a speaker, Imam & teacher. He is a graduate from Ebrahim College, London (Alimiyyah – Arabic Language, Islamic Sciences and Hadith studies) and the University of Warwick (MA in Islamic Education). Having completed his Hifdh (memorisation of the Qur’an) in Leicester by the age of 15, he pursued a path of knowledge and has spent nearly a decade in this field. Shabbir is the author of ‘A Beautiful Patience: 40 Life Lessons from Surah Yusuf’ which has already sold thousands of copies worldwide.
He has toured in many cities across the UK alongside influential names, most notably Mufti Menk, Ali Official, and Siedd. He is also the founder of @TheNikahCo which is the UK’s leading bespoke Nikah service provider, and currently hosts the popular IlmFeed Podcast.
